OUR STORY

House of bracelets is a London based brand focused on the design and manufacturing of jewellery and accessories.
Founded in 2014 by Alan Tang, with no background in the jewellery industry he embarked on a project to take on the jewellery industry by creating a collection that sets itself from the norm.
The idea began from a trip to Hong Kong's busy markets where shops would sell a range of semi precious stone beads and bracelets. With a few scribbles on a piece of paper of a 2d design, he was able to get a jade carver to create an intricate bead. Since then House of bracelets has been on a mission to learn about the jewellery design process and the use of CAD software to create jewellery pieces by working with various jewellery experts, CAD designers and 3d printers.
Creativity is embodied not just in the design stage but also in the choice of jewellery design software. Many companies either hire Jewellery CAD designers or actually design them themselves, and most often they would utilise conventional jewellery CAD designing software packages like rhino, matrix, Jewelcad. At House of Bracelets, we decided to think outside of the box and use Blender, a free software package as part of the free software foundation and Zbrush, used in the filming and gaming industry to create characters from Avatar/pirates of the carribean. Together with the rise of 3d printers, the possibilities have been endless.
The creativity of our design team combined with high quality materials and lengthy research into the manufacturing stage has allowed the project to be given life, with every piece unique and durable.
